Everything was handled from the second we landed

We flew Miami to Cap-Haïtien in the morning and were at the hotel with a cold drink in hand before lunch. No haggling, no scrambling for a driver, no surprise costs. Six nights, all meals, all transfers — I finally saw my country as a guest instead of as a project manager.

Fort-Liberté bay is unreal

I expected a nice hotel. I did not expect that bay at sunset. The boat afternoon and the beach day were the highlights, and the kitchen kept feeding us griot, lambi and fresh fish until we begged them to stop.

Carnival week without the chaos

Great value, bring a light jacket

One price covered flights logistics, room, food, drinks and excursions — I tracked what the same trip would have cost me à la carte and it wasn't close. Only note: evenings by the water get breezy, pack a layer.

Culturally rich and genuinely safe
